For all the seconds, minutes and hours spent
to suffer the pain
And to rejoice in the great love.
I said thanks with barrels, fire and streamers
We were saying goodbye to many hilarious
Parents, children, friends, enemies and lovers
From youngest to the greatest all jubilant.
This was done to greet and say goodbye a year gone by
greet with hugs and handshakes, kisses the baby just born 2008.
